This luxurious and special Paris wedding began with us photographing the wedding party on a tour through the Palace of Versailles. Actually (hilariously), just a few people, since the rehearsal dinner partying went so late in the evening that both the bride and groom and most of their group decided to stay in. It gave us a chance to chat with Kim & Brandon’s parents and really enjoy the tour!
The next day Kim’s father (a well-known hairdresser on 5th Avenue) helped her look absolutely stunning, followed by the ceremony at Chapelle Expatoire, a dreamy little chapel in the heart of Paris. We toured Paris photographing our couple in prominent locations, ending at their reception venue, The Dorchester Collection Paris Le Meurice.
Location: Paris, France, Chapelle Expatoire & The Dorchester Collection Paris Le Meurice
Colors: Pink, Ivory, Grey
Season: Fall
Katie’s Favorite Memory: We took Kim & Brandon down to the banks of the Siene for sunset images with Notre Dame behind them. Kim brought a brown fur wrap that I initially wasn’t sure if I’d like in the images, but as soon as she pulled it on I was just absolutely taken with it. The fur, the dress, the honey light, the air in Paris… what a dreamy moment!
Kevin’s Favorite Memory: We walked into their reception at Le Meurice and both of our jaws just hit the floor, it was unreal. I remember Katie and I looking at each other and saying, “is this real life? Am I dreaming?”
