We met Danielle when she coordinated Megan and Kyle's wedding at the sprawling, pristine Old Kinderhook golf course in Camdenton, Missouri. She does beautiful work as the resort's event coordinator and so we were honored that she asked us, of all the photographers she works with, to take on the important task of documenting her day.
And it was lovely, just as we knew it would be. Her bridesmaids, mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, and friends laughed and cried their way through the morning (where the party was about two hours ahead of schedule--I wish we always had brides who are event planners!). Danielle stunned in a beaded, creamy-colored gown with a lace-cutout top and full mermaid skirt. She wore her aunt's pearls (lots of tears when she put them on), plum-colored shoes, and simple diamond earrings. When she walked down the aisle and Matt saw her for the first time, he started laughing and then crying and honestly, couldn't take his eyes off of her the whole ceremony. The two of them whispered and quietly giggled together throughout most of the ceremony, which is unusual, but completely adorable. To say that these two were in love is putting it mildly.
Kevin and I loved this couple's dance party most of all. Seriously, these people know how to let loose on the dance floor. They seemed like such kind, sweet, somewhat conservative group so we were completely surprised when everyone, including Great-Grandma, danced like their lives depended on it, for HOURS. We love taking photographs of great dance parties!
We enjoyed getting to know this friendly and joyful group of people and certainly loved spending time in such a great location.
Congratulations, Matt & Danielle!
